“I love you, My beloved.
I love sitting with you in your home, in your small, overlooked moments as much as in the big, mountain-moving moments. I am always with you, and My heart longs for you. I long for your glance when, in that moment, you realize I am right there with you. It makes My heart leap. When you pull back the veil of busyness and pierce through unbelief, and our eyes meet, and you see Me, My heart longs for you, My beloved.
I don’t long for your service or your thoughts of what to do for Me. No, My heart longs for the moments when you stop and pull back the veil and realize I am with you. When we are together in each other’s presence, and you are finally present with Me—when you realize I am in the room, and My love for you is true and real in the moments of everyday life. I love you, and I love all of your moments. That moment when you release the burden of worries about tomorrow, or thoughts of how I will move, or the question that overwhelms your heart, ‘Have I done enough?’—that burden isn’t yours to carry.
When you realize that I ask you to fast not to test your obedience or discipline, but to bring you into a place where you can look behind the veil and finally see Me, so that we can sit together. So you can stop and see Me looking at you, so you can finally realize that I am in the room.
And in that moment, I can finally tell you, I love you.”
